What does Starlight Minerals do?
We are a licensed mining company headquartered in Freetown that acts as local operating partner for foreign manufacturers and investors in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, DR Congo and Madagascar. We mine gold and diamonds on our own licences, represent European equipment manufacturers, plan and manage projects, run a workshop, train crews and export minerals.
In which countries is Starlight Minerals present, and how?
Head office, workshop and own operations are in Sierra Leone. In Liberia, Mali, DR Congo and Madagascar we work through local representatives who develop customers, coordinate permits and site visits and organise delivery and service with the Freetown team. We do not hold mining licences in those four countries.
Which manufacturers do you represent?
VACAT sp. z o.o. and Przedsiębiorstwo HYDROMEL sp. z o.o., both based in Poland, for underground and processing machinery. We are open to representing further manufacturers in categories that do not compete with existing lines.
